In response to the recent shift in shopping habits, even a world-renowned brand like Nespresso needs to evolve. To ensure footfall and thriving retail spaces in an ever-increasingly digital landscape we needed to get strategic.

Taking a holistic approach, we explored the entirety of Nespresso’s retail ecosystem. How the physical stores fit within the broader business, how the Nespresso app and e-commerce operate, and how each element can come together to increase footfall and brand loyalty. We defined how we'd like people to engage with and experience the brand, helping us to ensure the retail spaces will resonate with coffee fans.
We created a retail brand strategy and experience manifesto, defining the guiding principles for customer engagements and outlining how the brand should behave and feel at key touchpoints. Our strategy inspired and informed the Nespresso team around a holistic narrative to shift from singular transactional sales to multi-channel brand relationships. Aiding their retail success, we also supported Nespresso with boutique window displays, strategy and design for new propositions, limited edition visual identities, and messaging.
